My friends at FatSand Films in Brighton have created a beautiful film about India’s premiere surf and yoga retreat – Surf & Soul in Kerala.  It’s the kind of film that makes you question your own life, goals and dreams. Well it certainly did for me! I am still amazed by the story of Sophie and Ed Templeton, who quit their London jobs in 2009 to travel the world and set up Surf & Soul in Kerala.  Now they run one of the most beautiful surf and yoga retreats in India and have an enviable life.  A true inspiration![…]

By Jane Wynyard November 2013 I certainly lived up to my Calamity Jane moniker on a recent visit to Kerala, South India. in the two weeks I was there, I was severely stung by jellyfish, shat on by a giant sea eagle and slapped by a temple elephant. I also swallowed a mouthful of polluted river and spent more than a week in bed in the UK with gastroenteritis. But don’t let this story of nature’s retribution put you off.
